I am having issue with sending email to mail.protection.outlook.com but cannot get the System log to show the email logs.

I cannot add any extra options in the Extra Log files to show but journald is not a file.

I though this was updated so we could add our own in, but I did not think I would need to add in the mail logs.

Any help would be appreciated.

It has. Or, it’s been changed to allow more reasonable use of journal queries.

Choose the postfix unit in the dropdown list (the one currently showing “All messages”).

Thought so. But I could not get delivery information from it so I could see why my email was getting deferred.

I thought it was made so I could add my own custom journal commands.

You can, at least you can see what happened on your server. You can get everything postfix logs. You can’t see what the remote server does with the email after it is delivered there.
