When I run Package Updates, I get an grub install error. This is an example of this error but I have encountered this error multiple times.
All the packages seem to upgrade okay. The computer is working normally despite getting these errors for around 6 months. I am able to reboot the computer without any difficulty. This error has been seen by others running Ubuntu Linux on AMD servers and some solutions have been proposed.
I also run a second Virtualmin server on an Intel server running Ubuntu. It does not give me this error. Another difference is that I am running this server in my home on a different network instead of on an Ionos server farm.
One solution mentioned is to run the following command to fix this:
apt install grub-efi-amd64-bin
Before I try this, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this problem and found a solution for it.
