Hey, hey, since the last update, a grey overlay appears on the bottom left of the sidebar. The box is static and doesn’t move when the sidebar scrolls. Already cleared cache, restarted, and so on… Nothing helped.

Have I found a bug?

Hello,

I don’t see this happening. Which browser are you using? Also, do you have any filters applied to the navigation menus on the Theme Configuration: Navigation menu / Color palette page? In particular, does clicking the reset button help solve the problem?

Seems to be a layer 8 issue.

It happens in every browser (Chrome, Edge on Win10/11; Safari, Chrome, Firefox on macOS) but when I reproduced on iOS Safari I noticed it was the logo for authenticated users (all other browsers just showed the grey overlay but iOS depicted the original file). After setting to “no” the overlay was gone.

Maybe the file I uploaded was too big resp. sported the wrong dimensions. Dunno.

Uploaded files with smaller dimensions but issue persists. Left the setting untouched for the moment.

i just had a weird experience in Webmin --> Servers --> Apache Webserver --> Configure Apache Modules where the table had a dark hue to it. I enabled dark mode, then put it back to day mode and the colouring issue had disappeared.

Before I had tried, but had not work:

  • wiping template cache
  • running firefox with caching disabled
  • tried chrome

If you have exact steps to reproduce this issue, let me know!

I cannot put my figure on how to break, but it did it before and I took a screen shot, but what I did was:

navigate to: Webmin --> Servers --> Apache Webserver --> Configure Apache Modules

  • enable night mode
  • enable daytime mode

I don’t think there is anything else I am doing but I do have my dev and live server open going through a backlog of work so i will post back if there is anything firm I can find.
