GitHub Issues that need closing - What should I do?

Hi

This is one for the VM team.

If I find any of my GitHub issues not closed when they should be, what is the best practice

  • Post on that issue and explain why it should be closed just in-case I have missed something
  • Just close the issue with a comment

Thanks

If you opened it, and it’s been fixed to your satisfaction, you should feel empowered to close it!

You can also ping the issue with a simple, “I think this is fixed?” sort of comment and it’ll probably bubble into someone’s attention and we can figure out if we’ve solved everything we planned to solve.

thanks Joe, I will go through my list and double check my issues and post with why it should be closed where applicable.

If the issues are simple and fixed, i will just close them.
