I’m trying to share an FTP account with a person who needs to upload some files to the server. I created their FTP account from “Edit Users” page. After login they can see these folders only and no files that exist n the public_html of this domain. This domain is a sub-server btw.
I went to Servers > ProFTPD > Files & Directories and I observed a weird behavior. The “Limit users to directories” option had 2 options. One was set to Home directory, other was set to None. I thought I’d set the other one to Home as well. But that created a third entry with option set to None. In the video below, count the number of entries before and after saving.
I think this is my problem. If not, let me know. If this is the problem, please let me know how to fix this.
