For those who cannot install Virtualmin with the default commands, I think I found a solution

I am trying to install virtualmin in my ubuntu vps, and am getting this key not signed error every time I install, I tried uninstalling and installing it, Still its very much the same,.

I installed using these commands wget https://software.virtualmin.com/gpl/scripts/install.sh , and then sudo /bin/sh install.sh .

It looks like the install.sh has the version 6.2.2 as the version to install. Just open it using VI and edit it to 6.17 as the version to install. And the virtualmin will start to install normally.
I guessed that the version 6.2.2 is not ready yet

@hindisong,

What error was being logged when installing? As you are using a grade A distro and version you should not need to alter the install script.

That absolutely cannot be the issue or the solution; the install script has its own version (6.2.2) which is wholly independent of the version of the virtual-server module to install (6.17, which is not chosen by the install script at all, it is chosen by your package manager based on what is available in our repos).

What was the exact error you got?
