File Manager - is there a setting?

I have come to like File Manger over the past month or so. So much easier to use.

However, uploading files is not particularly great. Or I am missing some setting.

I say “not great” because when I upload a single file (or more usually many files) they do not replace/overwrite the existing file with the same name. So I either have to delete each file before uploading or delete after then rename. both clunky.

Can there be a setting to select overwriting in preference?

Its should ask by default, check your setting top right side.

Also, there is a separate option to overwrite existing files upon uploads, e.g.:

That is well hidden! but thanks, even better once one knows it is there.
