Hi guys, I’m trying to install roundcube from the script section and I get the following error Fatal Error!
Failed to install script :, I’ve tried all the scripts that are available there and it always gives the same error, does anyone know how I can solve this error? kind regards

You do have PHP installed ? Roundcube requires it.

hello thanks for answering, i tried with php 7.4, 8.1, 8.2 and it still gives the same error

I have no idea. I’ve never seen that error. Usually there would be several steps that go by before a failure (or, preferably, no failure, of course).

I can’t think of any way there would no output at all. I’ll have to check in with Ilia and Jamie.

I have tried again with php 7.4 and roundcubemail has been installed without errors, but now I have a question, the virtual server that I have created needs php8.1 to be able to run the php script that I am going to install on the website, but I had to go down to 7.4 to install roundcubemail, so now I am stuck

Consider using Usermin instead of Roundcube?

I’ve uploaded to php8.1 and I’ve installed the script for my website without problems, and roundcube works perfectly, I’m going to check sendmail, I hadn’t used it, now I have other problems, the mail server sends emails without problems, but it doesn’t receive mail, my head hurts , that’s another problem

Sorry, when I said Roundcube needs PHP - I should have been a little more specific.
Under Server Configuration -> PHP Options you should have execution mode FPM selected.
The default PHP version 8.1.2 is perfectly OK (and works I have just run it and checked in https://domain.com/roundcube/

I certainly would not go back in history with a old (unsupported) version of PHP for anything.
