Error

Failed to open /etc/webmin/apache/site for writing : Read-only file system …/web-lib-funcs.pl (line 10440)

envy@ns40:~$

By mistake, rebooted the system while the command sudo fsck -Af was still running.

Tried running it again after reboot, got the following error.

envy@ns40:~$ sudo fsck -Af
[sudo] password for envy:
fsck from util-linux 2.37.2
e2fsck 1.46.5 (30-Dec-2021)
/dev/sda2 is mounted.
e2fsck: Cannot continue, aborting.

BUT, FOR NOW, EVERYTHING SEEMS OK AFTER REBOOT !!

There is a reason your system went ‘read-only’. Most probably a hardware issue. Learn SMART very quickly and check your disks. Make sure it is enabled on your system. There is a possibility you are on the verge of having a completely unbootable system. Have server backups available. Soon, very, very soon.
