Fail to receive emails from GMAIL: lost connection after STARTTLS

Hi Guyes,

PLEASE HELP!

im having trouble with gmail. i never recieve an email on any account when sending from gmail, looking at the logs i do see this

the weird thing i can get emails from anywhere except gmail

I’m no Postfix expert, but it looks like Google is refusing to send mail through your server because you have a problem with your certs (or lack of same).

Apply a SSL certificate to this domain, then copy over the cert to Postfix. I think that should do the trick.

Tank you! going to try is, will it need to be a lets encrypt or will self asighn work?

There is already a self-signed SSL certificate applied, I can see. You had better get a proper cert from Letsencrypt.

oky so i assign a lets encrypt to ch1.westerncloud.co.za still got a bounce from gmail
do i need to copy the cert to postfix? im not understanding this part
