Why are you ignoring the messages that are about your problem?
Contact your server provider! They are the only ones that can help you with this!
The problem is not (yet) DNS. OP does not have connectivity outgoing from their server on port 25. Without that, you donāt have a mail server, no matter how perfect your DNS configuration is.
What you must do is get working outgoing network connectivity on port 25.
Nothing else in this thread matters until you can successfully connect from your server to port 25 to an outside host. The logs you posted show you canāt do that, so you do not currently have a mail server.
Ok, I just created a new Cloud Compute small vps $6 p/m on Vultr and setup with a spare domain I use for testing. Created a new user on that domain and logged into usermin and sent a email to my gmail account and I did get a bounce with a PTR issue no time-out. Maybe its the type of VPS create or Iām trusted acount and donāt block port 25?
fixed up the PTR
I can now send to gmail.
What type of VPS did you create? What it cloud compute?
I destroyed the VPS so IP no longer exits btw.
Donāt change the subject. Itās a useful conversation to have, but not on this thread.
We know OP doesnāt have outgoing port 25 because their mail log shows they donāt.
He is using vultr, that why I tested on a brand new install.
Yep, I know. I havenāt had problems with mail on Vultr, but something is blocking outgoing port 25. Soā¦
Raise a ticket with vultr?
Yeah, itās not something we can fix and not something OP can fix on the system itself.
