after updating to Debian 10.4 I get this error:

yes when I try to restart in webmin its telling me its running. But I still get the server is down icon in the admin dashboard
Have you tried killing the process forcefully, and restarting Dovecot over again, or simply rebooting the server?
I think it got fixed after I updated the theme to x.50
