Donatete page - Make the `one time payment` option the default and first in the list

most people who donate will be one time payments so i think that this option should be first in the list and should be the default option.

so

Monthly - Annual - One-Time

→

One-Time - Monthly - Annual

Also why do you need 3 pages for a donate button. There should only be one donate page.

Just use a dropdown menu and a tiny bit of javascript.

the page should simply be: https://www.virtualmin.com/donate/

People can choose what they prefer. The current order reflects what we would suggest and like.

“monthly” and “annual” imply subscription
“one off” implies singular ie a donation
I understand the preference but from the customer’s perspective :confounded_face:

Exactly. If I am going to donate monthly I would just get a subscription.

Nobody would want to donate monthly without getting a subscription, right?

Thats what I think, however you know your number better than us.

If things are going as expected, than keep as is, but I would still just have the one donated page linked from the home page. :grinning_face:

I think it’d be hard to stop anyone who genuinely wants to donate, so technically, you can put that button anywhere, it won’t make much difference either way, I don’t think.

The most important button is the call to action button, like “Try Virtualmin,” and we already have it.

There have several people post in the forums that cannot find the donate button.
