Does webmin use postfix or sendmail or both?

Using the mail test it seems like it isn’t working yet!

As the server is managed by AWS it is almost impossible to get port 25 open as this is seen as a green light to spam creators, so I need to find another way to receive notifications from my applications. I think a lot of wordpress installations use plugins as a way round, but I suppose installing webmail would at least allow me to have a look at the messages currently stuck in the outgoing queue?

Webmin doesn’t care.

Virtualmin installs Postfix, by default. You have a sendmail command with either Postfix or Sendmail.

But, you probably don’t have port 25, so you’ll need to relay.
