Does Virtualmin still try to disable the Debian default cronjob for AwStats? Because if it doesn't it spams the root email address

To continue on the subject any reason not to? Couldn’t this be the default as to not need to revisit this everytime I get a new server spamming me?

I keep getting this as soon as I fill a proper address for root/superuser in Debian or check the emails for that matter; getting this every 10mins it is surely annoying and pointing to a problem that shouldn’t exist:

So there are 2 crons both owned by www-data:

  1. [ -x /usr/share/awstats/tools/update.sh ] && /usr/share/awstats/tools/update.sh
  2. [ -x /usr/share/awstats/tools/buildstatic.sh ] && /usr/share/awstats/tools/buildstatic.sh

As soon as I disable those of course no emails are received. Can someone from the team provide any further context?

This ^ … has nothing to do with the stuff I posted.
