Disk usage monitoring and disk sleep

I’m using webmin and noticed my external USB drive doesn’t sleep anymore. It used to do that and maybe because webmin shows disk usage. Oddly enough it only shows disk usage for the external drive and not the internal drive.
Can I change disk usage monitoring? Would that enable disk sleep again? Can I setup disk sleep from webmin?
