Disable Mail Server - but still send mail?

If I disable mail for a domain, that should only stop mail from coming into that domain, correct? If I have a WordPress install that generates email and sends out to a different address, that should still work even though the mail for the specific domain is disabled.

Just checking that this is still the case and my assumptions are not incorrect.

Howdy,

That’s correct, disabling the mail feature just means that the domain isn’t configured to receive email on that server.

Any of the apps running there can send email though.
