Why are you trying to update curl beyond the version provided by the OS?

Because Matomo says it has vulnerabilities!

No, you shouldn’t. If there is really a vulnerability expect an update provided by the OS!

Hi, I just migrated my CentOS 8.5, your version to AlmaLinux. As you know CentOS 8 is EOL. That way you will get updates by the OS. The conversion was painless and I followed AlmaLinux short guide as on their website. Or perhaps you prefer another distro but either way, you should probably review options available.

OK. I will go with rocky linux
