creating a procmail action?

I want to use procmail to initiate an action when mail is received in a given, specific, user account.

Specifically, I would want a specific URL to be executed/read when mail is received (it’s basically a way for a webpage to automatically pop a mailbox and initiate an update, via email).

What’s the best way to make that happen - i.e. is there some gui way to make this happen?

Howdy,

I believe you’d need to manually setup a .procmailrc in that user’s home directory in order to do that.

While you can use Usermin to setup some procmail rules, it doesn’t actually offer a way to run a program the way you’re hoping to do.
