I’m a little confused about clamd for my system.
I have centos7 on a cloud
I have logwatch and lately I realized that it was saying virus database is out of date.
if I run clamd:

ERROR: LOCAL: Socket file /var/run/clamd.scan/clamd.sock is in use by another process.
But doing freshclam doesn’t work? I get
freshclam
-bash: freshclam: command not found
If I do systemctl status clamd
Unit clamd.service could not be found.
I recall I think in the virtualmin wizard I select to have clam scan start up, scan the email and shutdown I believe? its been so long I forget. But why can’t I simply do freshclam to update its DB?
