Changed External IP changes back to wrong one… After a few minutes

Hi, if I change the IP of the server to another IP via Change IP Address in Virtualmin, it does not stick — after a few minutes (can’t say how many) the old IP is showing again. This is only a domain hosted with me, with DNS pointing to another IP than my own; actually I own both, and both are in my office on two separate internet connections. However the way i explained it which don’t should be less confusing since that is a plenty used use case.

I think you want to change your server IP via Webmin? I’m fairly certain that Virtualmin will work with the addresses configured in Webmin. Virtualmin is more about the virtual servers. So if you have an address pool assigned to the machine you can distribute those among the different virtual servers like giving one with virtual commerce its’ own IP address.

My provider set up DHCP so I can’t even really see what the configuration for fixed IP is.
