Can't install Horde

OS: Ubuntu

I tried using the script installer to install Horde (so I could then install IMP) but I ran into a problem. It detected that php4-imap was needed so it installed it from apt, but something failed after that. Now when I try to install Horde it says:

Found ftp://ftp.horde.org/pub/horde/horde-3.1.4.tar.gz in cache …

PHP module imap is required …

Module is not available even after installation!

Any ideas?

I think what you need to do is install php4-imap if your system is using php4 as the default.

Yep, I tried that, see my bug report:

This is a known bug that has been fixed in the 3.40 release.
