I’m using the GPL webmin/virtualmin. When I first installed, in the “install scripts” screen, I used to see a list of all the scripts available in “Pro” (but not installable because I’m on GPL version). I think I chose to hide the unavailable Pro- ones once, and now I only see the 6 GPL/free scripts (phpmyadmin, wordpress, etc) on this screen. How can I revert this visibility setting back so I can see the whole list of what’s available with Pro again?
(I would be handy if there was a button right on the “install scripts” screen to un-hide the hidden Pro- ones. Perhaps I’m missing something. Thanks!)
I found that setting (sorry, forgot to update this thread), but it [“Show Pro features overview”] is already set to Yes. I still only see the 6 scripts in “Install Scripts”.
I just tried toggling it. (Set to “no”, save, set to “yes”, save.) No change.
The setting I sent you handles the visibility of the pro advertising banner
Once you have hidden the pro scripts there is no option to unhide them.
This option is not stored in a cookie.
There is an option to hide the pro menu items because I have done it. But I don’t know where this is. If anyone knows where this is, please let me know.
There will be few pages (including Install Script page), on which we will give you a quick overview of what Pro version has in comparison. There will be a dismiss (forever) button to hide it.
Also, after discussing internally, we agreed to demonstrate Pro links (as inactive links) on navigation menu, as there are many features, which most GPL folks aren’t even aware of.
These would ever only be displayed for master administrators, and also could be pre-disabled completely from Virtualmin Configuration page.
