Cannot access database

Hi,

My client gave me a Virtualmin user and password account, where a Wordpress website is hosted.
I downloaded the website to my computer, so I can make some changes. But I cannot find where the database is.
The dashboard says I have 1 database, but I don’t find any option where I can access it.

Note: I cannot login as a root user.

Has your admin given you proper permissions for your dashboard? You should see this:

another general option, perhaps you have done this in the past — install one of the many wordpress plugins that will make a backup or archive file that you can then download and restore locally, all within the admin panels of wordpress.

Disclaimer – I love Virtualmin and use it all the time, but felt it could be useful to share the plugin route with you :slight_smile:

If you see install scripts, you maybe able install myphpadmin
