Installed VM from scratch today, but when i create a viritual server I get
But I’m getting both
BIND DNS domain failed! :
Apache configuration failed.
Failed to replace /var/named/chroot/etc/named.conf with /var/named/chroot/etc/named.conf.webmintmp.12299 : Device or resource busy at /usr/libexec/webmin/web-lib-funcs.pl line 1360
I’f i go and change
“Is named.conf under chroot directory? to NO.”
Then i manage to create the VM’s and Everything works perfectly , exept the DNS.
Anyoen who got a fix for this?
Yeah, we’ve seen this issue come up on a few occasions. Jamie offers a workaround to the BIND issue in the last post of this thread:
Let us know if that resolves the issue you’re seeing!
Well, that almost sounds like a file isn’t where it’s expected to be… what output do you get if you run this command:
ls -l /home/[domain]/fcgi-bin/php5.fcgi
Both Jamie solution works, and turning of “Is named.conf under chroot directory?” But I dont feel like it is a good solution tho.
and now I got permission issues
Failed to re-start service :
Starting httpd: Syntax error on line 1084 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf:
Wrapper /home/[domain]/fcgi-bin/php5.fcgi cannot be accessed: (2)No such file or directory
as well as
You don’t have permission to access / on this server.
Apache/2.2.15 (Scientific Linux) Server at [domain] Port 80
when i try to access all of my webpage roots.
Think im going to go back to Centos 5.
-rwxr-xr-x 1 domain.com domain.com 161 Nov 29 21:01 /home/domain.com/fcgi-bin/php5.fcgi
I deleted all VM’s and created them again. Solved the restart apache issue.
lets se what the next issue is. (stuff looks normal for now.)
Going back to Centos 5.6, whit Bleeding Edge. (hoperfully i will get a bether result whit that.)
