BIND stopping/starting - unknown control channel command sync

Hello,

since some days (or a week) I have problems with BIND stopping and restarting - sometimes within minutes.
Today BIND stopped and started already 70 times.

The logs show a unknown control channel command 'sync ':

received control channel command ‘sync DOMAIN.COM

unknown control channel command ‘sync DOMAIN.COM

received control channel command ‘stop -p’

We assume that it could arise from an Webmin/Virtualmin update which is adressing the new command ‘sync’ (as we had all updates installed automatically - changed now to security updates only).

BIND version 9.8.1

Webmin version 1.890

Virtualmin version 6.03

Ubuntu Linux 12.04.1

Kernel and CPU Linux 2.6.32-40-pve on x86_64

Has anybody the same problems or give us a hintz how to fix this?

Thanks!
