Hi guys,
I have 2 servers, one which I installed myself and another server.
When I try on my server to enable recursive queries for Bind 9 and add ACL lists, I can’t do lookup even if I’m within the range with ACL.
On the other server it works.
The only difference I see between the servers is :
- When I add ACLs in my server, ACL lists are listed directly under named.conf file
- When I add ACLs on the other servers, ACL lists are listed under named.conf.options and are automatically listed between an allow-recursion{} statement
I guess the second server works the proper way, am I missing something in the server I installed ?
