Wondering if it would be possible for you to look at allowing users to create a different DB user for each DB rather then automaticly defaulting them to the default username & password.
Possibly something similar to CPanel?

This would be a good idea for some folks, and not too hard to implement, so I suspect it will come in a not distant version.
