Best way to go live with a wordpress site

I have a wordpress site on VirtualMin and I have lets say staging.com pointed to it. I now want to go live with it. So I want to point live.com to this website. I don’t need to make any changes, just point a new domain at it.

ChatGPT tells me the best way to do this is to create a new virtual server, copy accross the wordpress files, copy across the database then do a find a and replace in the database (from old domain to new domiain)

Is this correct? Is there a simpler way to take this website live?

I would just create a “virtualmin domain alias” adding live.com to staging.com

(and, no, I don’t like my answer… because you couldn’t use staging.com in the future)

So, the best answer would be to Buy Pro and have access to the Pro WP Admin tool.

I do actually have Pro I believe. I haven’t heard of the “Pro WP Admin” tool though??..

You could just use a plugin designed to do that like but you would need to create the new virtual server.

stupid question, does this clone procedure edit the domain name references in the database and then re-serialize them?
