because I can not do subservers / subdomain work in virtualmin and dkim signatures in cloudflare when at virtualmin?
do not use virtualmin in my local pc, only in my vps, remote server, where I access the http://ip_my_droplet_digitalocean.com:10000 (moved this door for unused olhi in wikipedia list of ports that are used) renamed also the name of the root user and password created my own very strong to not use the unix linux my VPS.
I am tempted to use the webmin / virtualmin by its robust power to do many things that most panels do not. and still manages to be super light!
but I’m having a problem, I can not do the subdomains coming online. only the domains. install wordpress in all of them without problem.
I create a subserver place a basic html file in public_html and not get to see him for sub.meudominio.com … always arises error: not found page.
the only way I see this file and within the virtualmin panel using the preview feature Web site that’s where we open the files locally (https://44.444.444.444:10478/virtual-server/link.cgi/44.444.444.444/http: // ww …) here I can see the site or even install wordpress. but to access it locally only, never by sub.mydomain.com
My domains are registered in hostgator, my VPS is the digitalocean.
I have 5 domains registradado in HG, all with table dns configured in digitalocean and cloudflare.
when I’m with the installed vestacp (have two restore images to return between Vesta and virtualmin) enter the mine from hostgator record panel and point to the cloudflare or digitalocean, always work my dkim signatures, spf, DMARC, pass pass pass perfect
but when I’m with virtualmin, somento works dkim when the appointment is to digitalocean, never works when appointed to cloudflare.
in my vps, when I install vestacp, I believed everything automatic, users, db, email, ftp etc … as well as virtualmin … except that with not getting to dkim signatures virtualmin in cloudflare, and I know not cloudflare we can copy the keys directly in the cloudflare table, we primmeiro paste the nano because there is a mismatch of characters unix whatever, I copy the virtualmin the key, lap nano, I copy again and neck in cloudflare, and tightening DEL several times at the end of key value, thus not giving error: error code Cloudflare: DNS Validation Error (Code: 1004): Invalid TXT record. Record may only contain printable ASCII! (Code: 9051) … this error impossbilita we recorded the key in the table, but doing what I said, go through the nano before, the error does not appear and the recording is applied, but does not work ject of some the key, I’m one month in this attempt, just enter the hostgator and point to digitalocean the key appears signed in emails that submissions to the people.
but the curious thing is that exactly the same table I have in 5 domains is the same configuration, all the same between edigitalocean cloudflare. nothing changes.
and two ed domain tables work dkim when I’m with vestacp (but do not want it for several factors, want virtualmin)
detail, I do not touch anything when it comes to DNS server BIND, not move it, not configure it, do not do anything, I can host my sites and administrate my mysql databases with phpMyAdmin and access email client everything perfectly only dns records by copying the values that virtualmin generates automativacamente in creating virtualserver and paste the table digitalocean or cloudflare and work normally. but with the exception of subdomains / subservers I can not do go online. and dkim signature that can not operate with virtualmin, if not pointing my tables digitalocean, by the way, is where my VPS is running.
I believe that all this is related to such a master zone, as do it to get everything ok? use cloudflare with virtualmin and have my subdomains in the air would be too much, I love the virtualmin.
the only difference I saw in the recordings generated by the two panels, is that it creates records in Vesta:
@ NS ns1.localhost.ltd
@ NS ns2.localhost.ltd
and virtualmin it generates only a record:
@ IN NS jeo1.myvpsnamefqdn.com.
/// It creates a ns1 with the name of my droplet / VPS digitalocean.
remembering that you can see the NS in Vesta panel table, but you can’t see that NS1 in virtualmin table, but can do see it in: manually edit records
I believe that the panels do something different, like I think vestacp create a master already preconfigured zone that makes it work, I know how to do this in virtualmin for me to use only virtualmin. I point them to people but if you ask me about it will stay on your face.
I have tested my subdomains in whatsmydns.com and are perfect … why not go online
