Hey all,
Using a VM with 40Gb disk space and 1.2Tb CIFS mount (site has 300Gb of files) and have set Webmin temp directory to use the CIFS mount (media/temp), however when I attempt a full backup to destination media/web_shares/backups Virtualmin attempts to write temporary files also to a .backup and/or a virtualmin-backup directory resulting in 100% disk utilization.
The .backup directory appears to be used for the MariaDB backup, and removing that from the full backup options allowed the backup to proceed further:
Creating TAR file of home directory …
… backup of dir failed : Failed to write to /home/xxxxxx/.virtualmin-src when closing : No space left on device
Backup failed! See the progress output above for the reason why.
I do see the temporary tar file being created by the way, in /media/temp/…
How can I prevent Virtualmin from attempting to use these local temp dirtectories?
For the record: MariaDB backups work perfectly (65MB) on their own.
I am also concerned that running out of space on the drive could result in a corrupted DB.
Thanks in advance!
