I’ve just found that for one of the hosts in the /home/domain/awstats directory there is 4.6GB of files/data which is a bit crazy, I’d like to delete however will this mean this host will have no awstats reports/history?
Hi, yes… once files are deleted you will be like new one - zero or nada… you can back them up for some reason if you will need them to access for later usage or something but I delete old logs every 6 years… mine one are around 3 gigs but I have very much visits… in your case I would go and check logs for errors perhaps some other stuff just for security reasons and if its all normal and its just long time logs - I would removed them from server.
