I have a question: why doesn’t Authentic Theme enable automatic updates by default?
Are there any specific considerations for this?
To the developers and other users, do you recommend enabling “Check for Authentic Theme updates” for automatic updates?
For developers, yes, but not for normal users.
The way I understood it is that theme development may out pace the development of webmin/usermin so therefore the most current theme maybe incompatible with the version of webmin/usermin you have installed which, in turn, could break the ui. If you want you can run the theme-update.sh script located in
/usr/share/webmin/authentic-theme but I don’t recomend it
