Apache website : PHP FPM configuration error found : No listen directive found in FPM config

OS type and version Rocky Linux 9.2
Virtualmin version 7.7

Hi guys, greetings, I have virtualmin installed on a Rocky Linux 9.2 and it’s apparently working fine, but when I check the virtual server I get this error and I can’t solve it, I’m writing here to see if you can help me, regards

Need help with this same issue too. This error is blocking Let’s Encrypt:
Validating configuration for mydomain.com.au …
… errors were found, which will prevent Let’s Encrypt from issuing a certificate :

  • Apache website : PHP FPM configuration error found : No listen directive found in FPM config

Ok there is an error in the config file, I can not see anything in the gui to edit this file so you have to either view the file


and it should look like this

if that line is missing the best thing to do is either change php mode, or disable it if you don’t have an option other than fpm, then re enable or switch back to fpm mode. recheck the file again to see if the directive is there.

Thanks. The method described here did not work for me. But I went through UI in Virtualmin, Services - PHP-FPM Configuration. I made a change there and the file was written and fixed.
