Apache server is not visible: vanished on Webmin 1.930

dear Community dear Experts

first of all: i hope you are well - and your locality is doing well with the corona-pandemic issues.

here all goes well - but i have issues with the Webmin and the settings:

The Apache server is not visible: vanished on Webmin 1.930 … i cannot see the Apache any more,
all i see at the moment is the MySQL Server. But the Apache hosts are vanshed,.

what can we do here? BTW - see this view in the running-login processes:

|15260|root|2 days ago|/usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -D SYSTEMD -k start| |---|---|---|---| | 8076|wwwrun|13 hours ago|/usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -D SYSTEMD -k start| | 20982|wwwrun|2 hours ago|/usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -D SYSTEMD -k start| | 21820|wwwrun|an hour ago|/usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -D SYSTEMD -k start| | 21823|wwwrun|an hour ago|/usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -D SYSTEMD -k start| | 21830|wwwrun|an hour ago|/usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -D SYSTEMD -k start| | 22955|wwwrun|an hour ago|/usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -D SYSTEMD -k start|
and besides this .- see the login of a site (a wordpress-site) that was not accessible any more - two days ago:

see here the apache/log/errorlog and the full story https://pastebin.com/kFZ478nb
unfortunatly i cannot post more than 2 links - which makes a support-question allmost impossible .- … what a pity . what a pity…

i look forward to hear from you

regards
apollo

I don’t understand why you need to post links? You’ve posted a bunch of plain text on that pastebin, the URLs could be removed and it could have been posted here (much preferable…sending people off to other sites makes it hard to help). The link limit is to reduce spam.

Anyway, from the pastebin it looks like you have a simple ownership issue. You uploaded your files as some user other than the domain owner. Change ownership of those files to the domain owner:group and things should work, or at least get closer to working, and get you new errors.

Why not install WordPress with Virtualmin? It is included in the Install Scripts for both Virtualmin Pro and GPL.

Oh actually, it the error indicates you’ve removed the x bit from either /home or you’ve created /home/domainname with the wrong user:group.

Another possibility is that suexec is broken or misconfigured. Something is preventing Apache from getting to the directory where it needs to run the PHP files.

hi there - dear Joe, many thanks for the quick reply

i talked to the serveradmin and now i am aware that he “managed” the Apache-Overview - he configured webmin so that i cannot see this any more - since we have nowadays some domains that run ssl

so therefore he took over the Apache-vhost - things

AGain many many thanks for your spport.

have a great day
