Hello,
System information: Oracle Linux 9.7
Webmin version: 2.651
I’m trying to customize the Webmin login page and I couldn’t find any setting for this in the Webmin configuration.
I found the option “Show real hostname instead of name from URL?” and the related discussions on this forum. As I understand it, the login page can either display the hostname from the URL or the system’s real hostname.
However, what I’m looking for is slightly different.
I would like the login page to always display one of the server’s local IP addresses, regardless of whether Webmin was accessed using a hostname or an IP address.
Is this currently possible? If so, what would be the recommended way to achieve it?
I’m perfectly happy with a solution that involves modifying a template, a configuration file, or even a small code change if that’s the intended approach. I don’t necessarily need this to be configurable from the Webmin interface.
Thank you very much for your help.
Regards,
Patrice
