I have been trying to get this to work, I can login through SSH with the active directory credentials, I can sudo with those same credentials. But I can’t login to webmin with the same credentials, I have tried everything under webmin’s unix authentication options, I have tried many variations of the pam settings for webmin.
Has anyone been able to get this to work?
When I try to login I just get "invalid user login from ".
This is on CentOS 6 using winbind/kerberos.
Can you share the details of how you went through the process of configuring Active Directory? 1) because I tried and failed miserably and 2) since AD is similar to LDAP (which I have successfully configured) perhaps we can find what I do that perhaps allows LDAP to work for me and you can try it for you.

It works perfectly with SSH, I just can’t get webmin to authenticate properly.
