0curl: (6) Could not resolve host: api.vultr.com

Do i need BIND running on my system in order for this to work? (i resolve dns through registrar A records)

~]# curl -H ‘API-Key: FKEJ5HHSODQ4YLNPIPDXN4T7LADXKZJERSGQ’ https://api.vultr.com/v1/account/info
% Total % Received % Xferd Average Speed Time Time Time Current
Dload Upload Total Spent Left Speed

EDIT…Ill be stuffed.
I had no idea that this doesnt work without BIND running.

The reason this is an issue, WHMCS uses API key in order to communicate with Vultr.com, however i was getting an API connection issue. I am now suspicious that BIND is needed for that too.

Mark this as resolved.

Mark this as resolved.???

I wrote “mark as resolved” … just a figure of speech!

Forums are still places of support…or is that not why you come here?
I put it here because I’m sure that anyone else using whmcs with vultr module API will find this useful as even if you don’t use bind for any dns on the server, it will not work without bind running on the system.

OK im DUTCH

YEP SUPPORT, but also while using GPL give some input back to users even if my Grammar is not so…

I’m Using GPL for little Produktion, and some testing , but while using Some third not supported party repo’s licence for support is useless. ( so send some of my time instead to this forum)

Jfro forgive my poor understanding of English, i was born in a place where my mother tongue is Aussie slang…what you wrote doesn’t make any sense?
