HELLO.
We noticed that our Webserver Mail (https://www.ourdomain.com/) that received very well no longer works to receive new message.
But when I noticed that problem after trying to reset my password on a website and going to our inbox to click on link to reset new password on that website, we don’t receive anything as mail. After, repeat the process by clicking on “Forgot password?” (to change password), we don’t receive once again a message.
So, now, I personally to send a Test Message (from my Virtualmin Webserver mail: https://ourdomain.com) TO my Gmail, I noticed that the sending works. BUT, when I tried to reply it from my Gmail, I got your message could not be delivered to one or more recipients error.
CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE TO FIX THE PROBLEM THAT PREVENT TO RECEIVE EMAIL IN OUR WEBSERVER ???
if it is this user may have lots of email, you can either give the user a bigger quota (by editing the user and changing it) or by deleting emails from the users email account.
There are other reason for a full quota but this is a good place to start
I especially noticed that the Quota used column is marked in Orange unlike all the other columns.
I also, noticed that by sending an email to info@samedomain.com which is also us (“.com” not “tech”), We sucessfully receive this message unlike in erp@samedomain.tech.
Do you think that it is a quota settings problems ??? If so, what is your advice to fix that ???
click on Quota and home directory settings
then edit the quota limit to something larger than 50 mib.
it is coloured orange to warn you that the quota is near limit & needs some form of attention
But when we try to increase the quota value to 5 GiB, we get Failed to save user : User's quota cannot be higher than the domain's quota of 1 GiB as you can see on the following screenshot:
ok why not change it to 100mb or unlimited ? as the error says you are trying to make the mail bigger than the total allocated space to the domain, in this case 1GB, If you want a mailbox that big alter the quota for the domain owner first to something bigger then the mailbox user to 1GB
