What to do when your ISP doesn't allow to use port 80 and 443

End of the story;

I switch the SagemCom to bridge mode and connected a Netgear router.
On the Netgear I set port forwarding to my server and abracadabra port 80 and 433 are now accessible from the outside. Conclusion the router is cheap “rubbish”. :wink:

Now it seems that I have to fight with my ISP or find another ISP using this infrastructure (market is complicate and tycoons rules in Israel) because while they understand the problem they refuse to provide a solution that will allow to remove the modem (suck…s !) so they’ll keep charging me for a router I don’t want.

Thanks all for the help !

Cheers
@bsfez advice please keep that ISP router/modem and pay for it.
It save a lot of trouble ( the bridge mode) if you have connection problems to get yes or no support from them.

A real pain in the … here ( Germany) while then the first things First and secodn level Support telling you no you have own router that we do not support… so if not to much pay for that if bridge mode is possible with it.

Another reason I use vultr apart from keep my own hardware up to date.
