Virtualmin virtual-server module version 3.06

Hello Joe,

I saw that Virtualmin virtual-server module is now up to version 3.06, but my serverinfo says that I have 3.02 installed. I manually do the updates thru puTTY with yum -y update allmost every day. Do I have to do some other update to get the 3.06 version of Virtualmin virtual-server module? I thought that the yum update took care of all available updates.
Our server is running Virtualmin Pro on FC4.

Thanks!

Anyone else notice this? I see 3.02 as the latest version, but it shows 3.06 as released on the main page…

Same here… CentOS4. It’s been this way for days.

There is a bug report about this issue
http://www.virtualmin.com/bug-tracker/bug?bug_number=242

Same here for Suse 10.0 virtualmin shows 3.02, I read the bug report but it seems to only explain how to do it with yum but not any other way. HOw do us Suse people get the latest updates?

My fault. The package was never added to the repository (it went into my local repository, but the rsync that was supposed to put it on software.virtualmin.com didn’t happen). I’ve kicked that off now, and I’m updating the repository information.

It will be available within the next 5 minutes for all platforms.

Thank you Joe,

Saw there were some nice things in the updates.
I’ll try the yum update again in a while

Joe,

3.06 still not in SuSE respository.

Hi Joe,

Have you updated repository information yet?
I just did a yum update without getting the update to ver 3.06, or is it me doing something wrong.

We have Fedora Core 4 and Virtualmin Pro

I do the updates through puTTY with:
yum -y update

I’m getting some updates from the virtualmin repo, but not the virtual-server package. I do see it when i look in the repo manually, but yum won’t get it.

Same thing here. Version 3.02 is still the latest release available through yum. I don’t think this is OS-specific on the client-side. I am running CentOS 4.2.

Thanks for the tip, Chris. I was able to download and upgrade the RPM manually as well, but I wouldn’t have thought to look there otherwise. I guess the repo data just has to be updated for yum to see it then.

Hi Joe,

When is it possible to update virtual-server module to ver 3.06, yum update still don’t get the update.
Server is Fedora Core 4 and Virtualmin Pro

Is the repository information updated yet?
