Virtualmin version REQUIRED

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that I’ve started creating training videos on my YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@HostingStuff

So far, I’ve published a video showing how to install Virtualmin on AlmaLinux, and I plan to add more. There are also other videos covering Virtualmin features as well as other web hosting panels.

If you’re interested, feel free to check it out: Hosting & Stuff on YouTube

I hope you find it useful!

Thanks,

Mark (Hosting & Stuff)

Thank you so much

Bit of a nit pick its a bit dated, Almalinux 9 has been supported for a while now.
I also install on 1 gig vps for testing all the time and its stated in the docs

Nit Picker :face_with_tongue:

Thank you for your reply. I generally recommend more RAM, especially when enabling add-ons like ClamAV, which already indicates a 2 GB requirement on the selection page. I’d expect additional memory to be necessary for other components as well. My goal was to configure the system as close to a production-ready environment as possible while staying within the minimum RAM requirements.

I noticed you had an ISPConfig video as well… did they ever get that hardened?? I know they had some major security leaks a long time ago… I’m only asking since I hadn’t even thought of them for… wow… 9 years…
