Hello team,
The new socket auth has not being handled correctly checked on Ubuntu server as well,
We do not need to update root user auth plugin to blank or mysql_native_password & since virtualmin is doing this root user is open without any password.
Any user can log in with root user by passing command
mysql -u root
Please fix this on priority or for now force users to set a password for root user.
