Virtualmin file manager loading for ever!

Hello.

I unzipped 3000 jpg files about 40kb each file.

The problem is that if i enter this folder with virtualmin file manager taking for ever to load!

I dont think that 3000 files are too match! i had another server slower than i am now and i loaded more than 3000 files in about 30secs to 1 min.

Is there any settings to fix this ?

My vps is

Kernel and CPU Linux 3.10.0-327.22.2.el7.x86_64 on x86_64
Processor information Common KVM processor, 4 cores
Real memory 7.46 GB total / 2.24 GB used

The backend process is likely timing out. If the disk is slower on this system than the other one, it might load the directory list fast enough.

We’ll eventually make the file manager operate asynchronously (in all cases; some operations already fork to perform processing actions), so it won’t time out in situations like this, but for now there’s not a lot to be done. If the list or operation takes longer than a couple of minutes, it’s likely to fail.
