Virtual server zone 0 not responding

I installed virtualmin on a fresh Ubuntu 20.04 install.
I created 2 virtual servers. The first one let’s say was named example1 and the second example 1.
hostname for server is example1.com
Virtualmin set up Bind with:
zone 0 Master example2 Master
Root Zone root localhost Master
127 master example1 master
255 Master

Both sites are serving php documents.
example1.com responds correctly
example2.com responds Unable to connect

At the registrar Nameserver for example 2 is NS1.example1.com

I suspect Bind setup is incorrect but I have no idea how to correct it.

Please help
