users login name / mail

Hello,

I have set up virtualmin pro for a friend, but he has a special
request : he wished that the users could log in using username@domain.tld
instead of username.domain

So I changed the linux user names as well as the postfix mapping for now,
but of course when he adds new users, the system goes with the standard
behaviour puttin username.domain for the login (and the correponding mapping in postfix delivery).

Is there a way to set up this somewhere ? I couldn’t find yet.

It sounds like you’re asking how to change the username format.

You can do that in System Settings -> Server Templates -> Default Template -> Mail for domain -> Format for usernames that include domain.

In your case, it sounds like you want "user@domain".

Setting that will apply to any newly created users.
