Unknown domain (actually a subdomain) points to my website

Hi,
I found out that an unknown domain (actually a subdomain) points to my website. If I ping the two domains they return the same ip. Can someone help me? Two questions:

  • How can I know from which domains someone points to my website?
  • How can I prevent access to my website from an unknown domain?
    Thanks
    Jordi

Hello, Jordi.

This is how Apache works – falls back to the first VirtualHost found in its configuration for any unknown request.

The work-around would be is to create default-domain.host.name virtual server and set it to be default website for IP address on default-domain.host.name - Server Configuration ⇾ Website Options page:
