I created another log file rotation in the webmin-system-log file rotation section. i then found it was causing the program that generates that log file to crash when the log file got rotated. I deleted the entry, I have noticed the log file continues to be rotated even though i have removed it. How do i get rid of this now ghost log file rotation entry?
Howdy,
You may want to take a peek in /etc/logrotate.conf, and make sure that there’s no entry for it listed in there.
If you don’t see any there, you may want to make sure no files in /etc/logrotate.d reference it.
