Unable to load Webmin interface when using domain name

When I visit my server’s internal IP address using https://192.168.x.x:10000, I’m presented with a security notice from Chrome. Typically I just click the advanced button and proceed to the site because it’s internal.

Problem 1: Chrome isn’t allowing me to proceed.

The page now states that:

You cannot visit 192.168.x.x right now because the website sent scrambled credentials that Google Chrome cannot process. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later.

Problem 2: Using http://<ip_address>:10000 forces https://

When I don’t use https://, I’m notified that I must be re-directed to https://ns1.domainname.com:10000.

If I click that link, I’m presented with the Webmin login, but when I login, I get a blank page with a red loading bar whizzing back and forth, and the page never loads.

At present, I cannot get into Webmin.

Console reports a warning, although I don’t know if it’s related:

DevTools failed to load SourceMap: Could not load content for chrome-extension://hdokiejnpimakedhajhdlcegeplioahd/sourcemaps/onloadwff.js.map: HTTP error: status code 404, net::ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME

As a followup, I edited /etc/webmin/miniserv.conf to read

and I can get in using unsecured http, but I don’t know what implications that has on anything else.
