I am unable to install Virtualmin GPL in an Ubuntu 10.10 running ‘in the cloud’. It has been runnning perfectly OK until last friday night, but it went amok due to a packages update (the hour I did it!) that broke my sites.
Every time I rebuid the system and I try to reinstall Webmin, Virtualmin and Usermin, I am unable to install Virtualmin in any way: Fresh install with or without Webmin and/or Usermin… No way.
Last time, I read again the Virtualmin FAQ and I started from a fresh install and then I did:
# apt-get update
# apt-get upgrade
# wget http://software.virtualmin.com/gpl/scripts/install.sh
# sh install.sh
But, when I run the install script, I got this “Unable to locate usermin package” and I cannot get ayn further.
The root/ virtualmin-install.log says:
